The WordPress Event Calendar is a plugin that needs some revamping. The problem is that the posts are not sorted by event date, but rather by post date. We are in the process of building a more robust calendar that will sort posts by event date. It will be integrated into the post much easier, be widget-ready, and give WordPress owner’s another option for displaying their events. Keep checking back, as we will continue to update the process and test results.

Do you have multiple administrators accessing one blog, possibly trying to edit one specific post? In this situation, the last person to save the post has their own changes accepted, while the other editors have lost theirs. The Edit Post Locker plugin will lock posts for editing so that multiple users cannot edit the same post. This is a perfect plugin for large multiple administrator blogs/websites.
